Marvel Vs. Capcom 3's Shadow Mode Revealed
The Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 DLC doesn't stop. Announced exclusively by Gamestop, Capcom will release Shadow Mode, downloadable content that will let you face off against teams of AI opponents that fight like the big boys. No, not Hulk or Sentinel, but the creators of the game. Shadow Mode will give your opponents the gameplay habits and styles of Capcom's development staff including producer Ryota Niitsuma and associate producer Akihito Kadowaki.
Their AI will also be modeled after "famous players from the fighting game scene." What famous players you will face exactly remains unknown. The first pack is schedule for release in March with more packs becoming available later on. It is also unknown whether you will have to pay to fight against Niitsuma-san, or whether he will grace your game with his presence for free.
