Meet Dragon Quest Creator Yuji Horii
When Nintendo launched Dragon Quest IX at their NYC-based Nintendo World Store, Yuji Horii was on hand to sign autographs to the first group of people in line to buy the game. Well, he's also coming out to help promote the launch of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation. But this time it's on the West Coast!
The event will be held at the GameStop Flagship store at 370 University Ave. in Palo Alto, CA. from 1-3 pm on Saturday, February 12. That's right, two days before the game officially launches. I know a lot of people are jealous of those who live near enough to NYC to buy games at the early launch parties at the Nintendo World Store, so now another area gets the opportunity! There will be special prizes for attendees, and everyone who shows up can buy the game early, but only the first 50 fans in line will get an autograph by DQ creator Horii. (And you're gonna want to line up extra early, because I remember that the guy who was first in line at the DQIX launch claimed he'd been there for days!)
