Nintendownloads 2/21/2011

faxanadu.gifFor those lucky gamers that get to stay home on this President's Day, Nintendo has another set of downloads to last you through another week. Kicking off the list with a retro title, Faxanadu finally makes it way to your Wii's Virtual Console library. This 1988 platform game combines simple RPG elements and has you climbing the World Tree on a quest to rid it from evil. But if you want something a bit more relaxing and less stressful, why not purchase your very own fireplace? Cozy Fire for WiiWare isn't really a game, but a fireplace simulation that will constantly give you the feeling of being by a warm fire. Too bad your TV might overheat if you leave it on all night.

If you prefer the cold, then Arctic Escape will cool you down while you help a group of Penguins escape from an evil scientist. The game is a fun, yet simple puzzle game available for your DSi. If speed is more your style, you could always download the racing games G.G Series Drift Circuit or Remote Racers.

Check after the jump for the full list of this week's Nintendownloads.

Faxanadu!

I already own it, but I just ran downstairs to buy it so I don't have to worry about inserting the cartridge just right or having to remember my mantra.
