So we have some good news and some bad news for PAX enthusiasts. Let's start off with the bad news. Like I mentioned last week, three-day passes were selling like lightning and they are now officially sold out. If you're still planning on attending the conference, your only option now is to check out their forums to find people who can't go selling their passes. We warned you.
The good news is that PAX East 2011's official schedule is now up and running. This year's conference offers a whole lot more panels than last year's, each one catering to different gamers and those interested in the video game industry. After attending last year's OC Remix panel, I cannot wait to identify classic game scores in the presence of other video game music fanatics all over again. Another panel I'm looking forward to that is dear to my heart is Alexander O. Smith's Inside Localization panel where his team will discuss the process of translating and localizing a game to make it suitable for its audiences. Also be sure to check out the One of Us panel, featuring GayGamer.net's very own tiny dancer, that will discuss the obstacles non-stereotypical gamers face everyday and their strategies to cope with them. Whether you're going on not, which panels pique your interest?
Don't forget to check out the gaming tournaments being held throughout the weekend including tournaments for Super Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 , and the ageless Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Afterwards, rock out to the video game sounds of Protomen, Metroid Metal, and MC Frontalot. That's a lot of stuff, and that's not even counting what you will find on the showroom floor and hallways. Is it March 11 yet?
