It's been a while since I last got a chance to write about Explodemon here on GayGamer, so I'm very pleased to say that the game will finally release on PSN tomorrow. To kick off that release, Curve Studios has put out a launch trailer detailing some of the game's features. Most notable among those features? Aplomb. Can you remember any game that listed aplomb as a feature? I can't.
For the uninitiated, Explodemon has been in development limbo for what seems like forever. Unlike Capcom's Maxplosion, Explodemon was first announced just a scant few days before Splosion Man was revealed in 2009. And though Twisted Pixel's bombastic hero stole the spotlight, Explodemon still has a few tricks up its sleeve. Hearkening back to the action platformers of the SNES era, Explodemon has a distinct style that has been sorely lacking from games for years now. And if you've played Curve Studio's Fluidity on WiiWare, you know the developer is more than capable of pulling it off.
Explodemon releases tomorrow (Tuesday) on PSN in the US for $9.99, and Wednesday in Europe for EUR 9.99 (£7.99).
