Video: Jurassic Park Trailer
Yes, please.
I am still a huge fan of the original Jurassic Park movie. I saw it so many times it was ridiculous. Especially after it went to the $3 movie theater near the office, so I would go practically once a week after work! And it kept raking in the dough because I remember it being in that discount theater right up until the home video release (and maybe a little after)! There was nothing quite like seeing those dinosaurs rampaging around on a giant screen. Heck, I even enjoy The Lost World, as long as I shut it off before they leave the island.
Of course, nothing can compare to actually visiting Jurassic Park itself, but that's kind of hard because it doesn't actually exist in reality. Yet. I have fond memories of the Sega CD adventure game (which I may have in a closet with my system, and would totally dig out and hook up if I wasn't so lazy), and slightly less fond memories of the Genesis platformer. So it is with great joy that I present to you this exciting trailer for Telltale Games' new Jurassic Park, due out in April of this year for Mac and PC and as-yet-unspecified consoles. I've also seen some gameplay footage, and it looks to play similar to Heavy Rain, just with dinosaurs. As long as I have free reign to wander around the park and get eaten by all kinds of different dinosaurs, I'm good. I'm a cheap date!

Oh my god I am dying from excitement! This looks great! I love it when they piece together stories you don't read in the books or see in the movies!
That said, the graphics don't look too good, but I'll probably get it if it really is a Heavy Rain-ish type game.
It's kind of weird that they were so amazing with the Back to the Future voices (assuming this is indeed the right company I'm thinking of) yet here it's a little off. Plus the graphics when there are people or pools of water kind of are weak.
That said, the franchise is strong enough that I'd want to check this out plus I always did dig those point and click-esque adventure games. Somehow they also seem to have gotten sidekick kids into the thing again?
