Video: Twisted Pixel Aims At Kinect With The Gunstringer
While there's little doubt that Kinect is an impressive piece of hardware, aside from Dance Central there really hasn't been much worthwhile to use with it. That's where Twisted Pixel comes in, bringing their unique brand of humor to Microsoft's controller-less contraption with the newly announced shooter The Gunstringer.
Starring "a marionette out for vengeance," The Gunstringer looks to combine 2D platforming and on-rail shooting segments much like Twisted Pixel's last game Comic Jumper. However, with Kinect at the helm, it's anyone's guess how the game will control. I can see the on-rail segments working fine with a player's hands used for each gun, but I will be very interested to see how those 2D sections play out.
Check out the first trailer above for a first look at The Gunstringer. I don't see anything in that trailer that couldn't be done with PS Move or a Wiimote, so we'll have wait for more info to see if Twisted Pixel's cheap jabs are justified.

"aside from Dance Central there really hasn't been much worthwhile to use with it"
Cheap jabs are cheap. Especially when they can be proven wrong with math and reality.
Yay! I'm glad somebody picked up on that. ;)
