Gallery: Resident Evil HD Confirmed
Yesterday, it was only a rumor, but today Capcom has confirmed both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360... as downloadable titles! No bundle here in the US, so you can pick and choose. Which honestly, is the best way, because if you've only played one, you're not forced to buy it again just to get the other.
RE4 will have Trophies and Achievements along with the HD visual upgrades, and as rumored, will include all the bonus content from previous versions of the game. Since they didn't say anything extra about Code: Veronica, I guess it just gets prettier graphics. Both games are scheduled for release this fall. Here's a handful of screenshots Capcom released that gives you a look at how much prettier the game is going to be in HD. Funny, but I don't remember RE4 looking that blurry and awful when I played it!

Oh man...RE4 in HD is something I've wanted for awhile now. It'll be weird playing it with something besides a Gamecube controller, but I guess I can manage...

I know they've been porting this game to every console known to man, but so far the Wii version still seems to be the best thanks to the intuitive controls.
If they're going to make a HD version for PS3, they might as well add Move support. Then it would be the best of both worlds!
I have played RE 4 at least three times, and I will surely play it again in HD! However... those screen shots are total BS
