Rock Band DLC Wants Peace, Maaaannn...

In case this week's six-pack from Billy Joel wasn't enough to tickle your ivories, ("I Go To Extremes," "Miami 2017 (Seen The Lights Go Out On Broadway)," "My Life," "Prelude/Angry Young Man," "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant," and "She's Always a Woman") Next week will bring to the Rock Band Music Store what Harmonix is calling the Days of Peace Pack 01. It features a three-pack of songs from artists who played at what they call "one of the best known (and expensive to refer to) music festivals of all time." What, we can't refer to it by name? You know, Snoopy's little yellow bird friend? That one? Weird.
Anyway, the pack includes "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane, "Spinning Wheel" from Blood, Sweat & Tears, and "Black Magic Woman" from Santana. All of which will find their way into my Xbox 360 hard drive when they release on Tuesday, March 29.
They're also releasing "Through the Fire and Flames" and "Operation Ground and Pound" from DragonForce. You might recall "Through the Fire and Flames" as having been featured in one of those other music videogames...
As always, the tracks are $1.99 on the 360 and PS3 and $2.00 on the Wii, with the Peace Pack 01 going for $5.49. "Black Magic Woman" and "Through the Fire and Flames" will have Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions available for $.99 each. (And I am going to have to try and remember to check YouTube next weekend to see the videos of people playing DragonForce on Expert in Pro Mode. Because you know people are going to be able to pull it off!)
