Video: L.A. Noire "A Slip Of The Tongue"
Rockstar's hotly-anticipated (at least by me) L.A. Noire has a bevy of pre-order goodies depending on where you reserve your copy. If you pre-order at Walmart, you'll get a code for the extra "A Slip of the Tongue" traffic case, and after seeing this trailer, I almost wish there was a Walmart in NYC that I could've gone to. I went to GameStop to pre-order instead, because they're offering a vice case, which seemed more interesting than a traffic one. However, this trailer makes it seem pretty fun, too!
Thankfully, according to Rockstar's website, all the pre-order bonuses should eventually be released as actual DLC for purchase "at some point," so you can buy the outfits and missions that you missed out on. But for the record, here's what you'll get at each location:
GameStop: "The Naked City" Vice Desk Case
Walmart: "A Slip of the Tongue" Traffic Case
Amazon.com: "The Broderick" detective suit (enhanced fighting skills)
Best Buy: "The Sharpshooter" detective suit (enhanced shooting skills)
Rockstar Warehouse: L.A. Noire T-shirt
See why I went to GameStop? Who wants an extra outfit, even if they do give you upgrades to fighting or shooting? They're not even that snazzy! Oh, and remember L.A. Noire will be out on May 17! Counting the days!

This just ensured that I don't preorder, and may actually wait for the inevitable "Game of the Year Edition" since that'll be the only way I'd be able to get all the DLC.
I guess I could preorder it from both Walmart and Gamestop, and then resell one of them minus the code...
This is totally an aside, but every time I see news about L.A. Noire, I think of this:
Sophia: Dorothy, Rose is helping me make out an ironclad will.
Dorothy: Wait, you're using Rose as a lawyer?!
Rose: I know what I'm doing! Every Thursday I watch La Law.
Dorothy: That's "L.A. Law!"
Rose: I wondered why Susan Dey didn't have a French accent!
Thus, this game is now "La Noire" to me.
Cannot waaaaait. This game (and the tech behind it) looks so amazing!
Haha, not only that... I work for Best Buy, chances are we won't know where to tell you to get the code from anyway.
"It should be on your receipt... No? Uhh... Check your e-mail! If not call 1-800-BestBuy!"
Uggggggggh
