Atari Releases Classic Games For iPad, iPhone

Centipede, Missile Command, Asteroids, and Yars' Revenge are among the eighteen classic arcade games and ninety-two Atari 2600 games Atari is releasing for iOS from its mammoth catalogue - and they're being priced to sell. While Pong comes free with the emulator that lets you play the old-school titles, a buck gets you a four pack of games, and $15 nabs you the entire collection.
While not all Atari-era games have withstood the test of time, the company seems to be pushing its most famous - and still playable - titles with this release. Of course, these are all Atari-owned games, so don't expect to be able to pick up Nintendo's Donkey Kong, Namco's Pac Man, or Konami's Track & Field (of course, the former two titles are available in any number of iterations elsewhere). That being said, Atari has re-jigged some of the iOS releases to include Bluetooth multiplayer - including most of its sports games, Warlords (man, I loved the box art for that game when I was a little kid), and Yars' Revenge.
The whole collection is available here.
