- Due to the natural disaster and related problems in Japan, Sony announced that their NGP may not release in all territories this year.

- Sega revealed a teaser for their Sonic the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary.
- The newest PlayNerd centerfold cracked the glass ceiling and featured lady game journalist Leigh Alexander.
