Nintendownloads - 4/4/2011

super bonk vc.png

Well take a look at that, the Virtual Console is back this week with Super Bonk from the SNES joining the Wii's Virtual Console library. Considered by fans to be one of the best in the series, Super Bonk is based on Bonk 3 with some tweaks and enhancements that made the SNES edition better than the original.

On WiiWare this week is Planet Fish on WiiWare. It's yet another virtual aquarium, though unlike some other this one actually lets you catch the fish in a puzzle-like mini-game. Also on WiiWare is the free demo of Monsteca Corral: Monsters vs Robots, an underappreciated WiiWare RTS that's worth checking out.

The big DSiWare release this week is Anonymous Notes Chapter 1 - From The Abyss, an action RPG based around the gameplay from the retail DS game From The Abyss. Anonymous Notes gives players a only a single dungeon to venture through, however it is randomly generates to extend replay value. If RPGs aren't your thing, there's also the puzzle game A Fairy's Tale which actually sounds quite good or the baseball management sim Absolute Baseball which sounds like a perfect cure for insomnia.

Check out the full descriptions of each of this week's Nintendo download titles after the break.
