Pokémon Global Link Coming This Wednesday!
When last we left our heroes, Pokémon's latest breakthrough in online connectivity had been delayed for the English version. Global Link was promised to add leaderboards, tournaments, and stat tracking for a whole League of online battlers. And for those of us who just want to have fun, the Dream World was to offer a whole space to explore within a Pokédream, where your current favorite could meet new Pokémon and decorate their little home.
But, real life got in the way of such dreams, and both halves of Global Link were sundered by the same earthquake from which Japan is still recovering. There was no clue other than 'spring' for the actual release of Global Link, which was originally scheduled for the end of March.
Happily, we now have the answer, and it's closer than anyone thought! Pokémon Black & White versions will be able to link to GBU and the Dream World on April 13--that's this Wednesday, for those not at their computer.
That's barely enough time for me to decide what theme to go for in little Zorua's den! I may have to send for a consultant from Nimbasa City. Anyone else have big plans for their dream house, or seeking to rise in the ranks and become the Pokémon champion of the world?
