Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary

Dear Diary,

Well, the worst has come to pass. I'm not even sure I can talk about it, the wound is so fresh. And it's already been nearly an entire week since it happened.

I'll try to be strong...

I just happened to swing into Pippy's place and was stunned to see that all her belongings were packed up in cardboard boxes! I couldn't believe it! She'd talked about leaving last week, but I thought I talked her out of it. Should've known it wasn't going to be that easy. But much to my absolute horror, I couldn't talk her out of it this time! She wouldn't even give me the chance! I went into panic mode and reset the entire universe in the hopes of maybe getting her to open up and let me talk some sense into her. But it was no good. As a last ditch effort, I sent her a present, and even got my roommate to talk to her, but to no avail. Hell, I don't even know if she even got the present, because I never got a reply... sniff...

And sure enough, the next day, I found this missive in my mailbox. I can't even find the words. I am gutted by this. If we were really BFF's as she claims, why wouldn't she want to stay with me forever? Why would she leave me?

Oh Pippy, what will I do without you? *SOB!*

Needless to say, after I climbed out of my funk and discovered that Derwin was sick, I immediately rushed to Nookway to buy him some medicine. I've taken a shine to that queer little duck, and wasn't about to let him die on me. And maybe by helping him live again, he won't think about moving. At least, not for a while, I hope!

Pascal was a nice distraction, and this time around his advice was actually practical! (Although technically, you don't have to tip the hairdresser because you'd do that after they were already finished with you. Just don't go back again!)

Oh Poncho. You're adorable and all, but you replaced my darling Pippy. And she's irreplaceable. You'll give it a good go, no doubt, but no one could take her place in my heart. Derwin is my new BFF, but only by default. Sigh...

I love your blog--especially the Animal Crossing diary. Reading it inspired me to check in on my neighbors after taking a break for a year or two.

One of the reasons I took such a long break was the loss of my beloved Coco. She was a strange rabbit with holes for eyes. One day she moved away (after I foolishly time-traveled). Sadness!

I teach my animals to curse. It's very fun!

Anyway, thanks for the diary, keep it up. It always makes me laugh.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
