Deus Ex: Human Revolution Goes OnLive

OnLive is getting serious now, offering up some big new releases day-and-date with the retail stores. Today they announced that Square Enix's Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be available on the OnLive platform beginning at 12:01 am PST on August 23 in North America. But that's not all! They've got a couple of pre-order promotions. For $44.99, you can pre-order a copy of the standard edition, which will come with the Game of the Year Edition of the original classic Deus Ex to play while you're waiting for Human Revolution. And if you want the Augmented Edition, that'll get you the standard edition plus a 44-minute making-of video, a motion comic book and art book, the game soundtrack, an E3 trailer and animated storyboard. But that's not all! You'll also get the choice of a free game or a free OnLive game system to hook up directly to your TV! And all of that will only cost $53.99, which to me seems like kind of a steal, even with just the extras. Of course, we still don't know if the game's actually going to be any good or not... we're just hoping it will honor the series' legacy and be at least mostly awesome. Well, I'm hoping that!
