Homefront Spruces Up & Adds DLC

Homefront was one of the titles getting a big push at last year's E3, and while I admit it looked intriguing, I still haven't gotten around to playing it. But for those of you who have, THQ has announced a new title update for the game on the Xbox 360 as well as a DLC pack that's on the way!

THQ is promising that the Xbox 360 update will improve the "overall game stability and network connectivity." There's also various other fixes including assist points for vehicle kills, max ping limits for server connections, a Joining Friends feature and more. This update will also include the Ability Pack which includes five new abilities for your characters.

And then on June 7, the Fire Sale Map Pack will be released first on Xbox LIVE and feature two all-new multiplayer maps exploring the twisted, war-torn America of Homefront. And as a little thankyou, the 870 Express Shotgun will also be available for download as well as a free Premium Homefront Theme in the Xbox 360 Marketplace. And KAOS Studios and THQ promises that this udpate will only be the first of many!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
