In the video above, you can watch a comparison between Monster Hunter Portable 3rd running on the PSP, as well as a just announced enhanced version for the PS3. Sony announced this weekend that they'll be bringing a number of PSP games to the PS3 in enhanced editions with better visuals and extra content, and they're calling it the Playstation Portable Remaster series.
Besides Monster Hunter, which will be coming this summer in Japan, no other titles have been officially announced, although rumors were swirling of a God of War PSP collection for the PS3. There's also no information on price, but the video does show that game saves will be compatible between the two systems, and there will be some form of online for the games that support it.
Is this something you'd be interested in, or is it just another way to get you to buy games you already own one more time? If they'll transfer to the NGP with their enhanced qualities intact, that may be enough to get me to bite, at least on games that I don't already own on UMD.
