That's it! I've had it with some of these people! Er, I mean... animals! You know what I mean!
They're all a bunch of huge liars, and I don't know who to trust anymore! They lie right to your face! See what I mean after the jump...
That's right. You might recall that last week, Pate told me s/he was thinking about leaving town, and when I asked the androgynous little duck to stick around, s/he immediately changed his/her mind and said s/he would. But then! But then! I get this letter just a few scant days later! Good-bye, you big liar. Good riddance, I should say! Liar, liar pants on fire! Oh, except I'm not sure Pate wore pants. Oh, actually, I don't think anyone besides myself does... Oh my God, how have I never realized this before? Narnia is a totally pantsless village! That's just wrong!
Then, rather quickly, Pinky moved in. Usually it takes more than a few days to get a new townsperson, but this happened within a day, surprisingly. And while Pinky acted like she didn't know me, she totally does. We were neighbors in one of the other towns I lived in. I don't know why everyone tries to pretend like they don't remember me. It's a little bit rude. But as I said, they're all a bunch of lying liars who lie. So whatever. (Although she does have a good point about just barging into peoples' houses... although I do knock before barging in... does that help?)
Oh, and one other thing: The videogame gods were smiling down on me this week. It's almost as if they knew that L.A. Noire was coming out on Tuesday, so they made sure to have it rain in Narnia that day so I didn't have to spend as much time walking around watering wilting flowers. I could just wander about real quick chatting with a few people, seeing if there were any special visitors and pulling any weeds I find, and have more time to spend playing the new game I'd been so excited for! And best of all? The day after a rainstorm, there's no flowers to water, so you can make it quick again! (Although I usually don't, because then the day after there are a lot of wilting flowers!)
