So what'd you think?
Our very own Wootini who's at E3 as we speak has already given us his first impressions of the Kinect lineup, which took up most of the presentation.
Some thoughts from me:
the sexy nerd prince himself Cliffy B, Sesame Street and Disneyland Adventures for the Kinect stood out the most for me IDEGAF. What can I say I'm a sucker for kid friendly games and the kids they got to demo those games were all adorable.
The announcement of Live TV via the 360 is an exciting prospect, but until we get details I'll hold off on being too excited. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider looks as great in gameplay as it does in trailer form. And Mass Effect 3 looks great in motion, but the most exciting feature is still the addition of same-sex romance.
Shep/Garrus/Kaidan 3-way here I come!
Overall it seems like Microsoft is playing it safe this year with a healthy balance between blockbuster titles and more casual games. The new additions to Xbox Live seem to cement Microsoft's dedication to making the 360 a media hub, and not just a gaming console. They're also bolstering tons of support for the Kinect, a very smart move, with more than half of the titles showcased utilizing the peripheral in some way. Time will tell if Sony will follow suit with the
black Wiimote with a ball Move.
Oh. And Halo 4.
