Heads up to all of our San Francisco or otherwise Northern California based gaymers: tomorrow night (Tuesday June 28th) to celebrate the brand new Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition DLC.
From Capcom Unity:
What Date/Time? June 28, 2011 from 7 pm until 11 pm.Who? All of you gentlemen and gentlewomen reading this post.
Why? Celebrating the retail launch of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition.
Where? Vessel SF (Google maps here). If you're standing in Union Square, walk towards the Nike Town, pass it, and take a right down the first alley way.
Awesome! How do I jump the line again? Bring your proof of purchase (i.e. your receipt from GameStop/Best Buy/major retailer) or pre-order for the Capcom store to the front of the line BEFORE 6 PM. We'll give you a wrist band and will ask you to line up in a special line. This is limited to the first 100 people who show us this.
Who's dropping the beats? We have my good friend DJ Goldenchyld as our house DJ, with special performances by DJ Qbert and community favorite RedRapper.
What perfect timing! Our very own Henshin A Go Joe just shared his thoughts on DLC and its effect on the fighting genre, and not too long ago I brought you the debut trailer for this excitingly hefty pack which features four new (to the US) playable characters, stat balancing, new modes, and most importantly new costumes.
Also at the event, a chance to play Street Fighter X Tekken and Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition.
I'll most definitely be at Vessel tomorrow night, with bells on! And nothin' else. Will I be seeing you there? Anyone want to take on my El Fuerte or my Sakura?

Dammit, I'd so be down for some 3S Online Edition. I can't even describe how much I want that game...
I don't usually get out of work until 7:30, so I probably won't make this. Anyone meeting up elsewhere / going anywhere afterwards?
I wish this was going down in Chicago too! I've been playing Arcade Edition for a few weeks now, and it's pretty damn fun.
