Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
There was a sad good-bye this week, and no new hello yet, which I find rather odd. I mean, usually when there's a sudden vacancy in Narnia, someone new moves in within a couple days. There's nothing wrong with this town it's actually rather awesome so I don't know why there wouldn't be a waiting list to move in. Heck, I can't even imagine why anyone would want to move out in the first place!
At least I got an awesome new present to lift my spirits!
I've always liked Marcel. He was really cool... for a mime. But when I stopped by his place to say hello and saw all his stuff packed up, I tried to talk him out of moving and he wouldn't even let me. Like, he wouldn't even entertain the notion of changing his mind. Seriously? Well, that's just rude. At least let me try a few arguments. I hate feeling so helpless!
And sure enough, the next day, I found this letter in my mailbox. It's kind of rude the way he writes that it's almost time to go, but he totally had already left. I fell for that the first time someone phrased it like that and I went running over to their house only to find it gone. Now I knew what it meant. It meant he was gone. And his house with him. Why is that? I mean, who moves a house? And why don't I hear that when I'm sleeping? Marcel lives right near me, and you'd think I would've heard someone just uprooting and taking his house away!
On the plus side, it was the first of the month, so it was time for the next installment of the gold series! Nintendo's letter read: "Between the glare of the summer sun and this wallpaper, you might want to consider applying sunblock to avoid getting burned." It is pretty blinding, isn't it? When this set is finished, my house is going to look ridiculous!
I hope Marcel's replacement arrives before I have to leave town for a week. As you probably know, I'm headed to Los Angeles for E3, and will have to leave Narnia in the care of my boyfriend who has promised to check in at least a couple times to water some flowers and keep things tidy. Hopefully there won't be any disasters before I come back!
