I'd like to say that it was another uneventful week in Narnia, but while not a lot happened, what did happen was pretty big. Unfortunately, I had to go away again, which didn't wreak as much havoc on my plants since it was only for a couple days (and it rained for a couple of them thankfully), but it did affect Narnia's population!
Sunday was Father's Day, so naturally pop had to drop me a line to remind me with some subtle hints of what day it was. Oh, and he included a pink carnation, which you'd think would be a better gift for Mother's Day. Unless my dad is trying to tell me something...
At any rate, I will never understand why Mom and Dad send me gifts on their days!
Turns out my constant absences during the month of June has affected my townsfolk. Last week, you saw that they notice when I'm gone, and this week, we lost another one. You might remember Pinky as the bear that moved in just recently. Or you might not remember Pinky because she just moved in! I don't even think I said more than five words to her the whole time she was here. I guess she thought I was anti-social. I'm not, but in order to be social, I have to actually be around! Sorry, Pinky! (I always thought you were boring when you were living in my last town anyway!)
And by the end of the week, we had Pinky's replacement, who ironically was also pink. However, Peanut seems actually rather awesome. She's got a great attitude, and will fit in well here in Narnia, I think. Who knows? She may become a new favorite! Maybe I'll try to make Peanut my new BFF! Check back next week to see how I'm doing!
