Featuring 12 new playable characters, 8 new stages, and a 'refined' fighting system, the game will see release in November just in time for the holiday shopping rush.
Honestly though is anyone surprised by this announcement? It follows the standard Capcom fighting game cycle: Release game. Re-release game with new characters and features.
I can only hopeI'm sure Gamespot will allow trade-in deals for the suckers people who bought MVC3 upon its initial release, as they've done in the past for Super Street Fighter 4.
Under the cut we've got the full list of new characters and more gameplay videos.
There's a notable lack of new female characters but that isn't nearly as offensive as the lack of a certain blue helmet wearing lad.
Seriously Capcom? No Megaman? Seriously? I mean we've all got our favorites, I for one would kill to see Jubilee, Servbot, Alex, and Ms. Lion of the Pet Avengers all show up but for Capcom's number one mascot to still be missing from their mascot fighter? Something's fishy.
But until that particular mystery is solved here's some gameplay. I'm quite the fan of Hawkeye's Ant-Man special.
Our friends at Joystiq happen to have screenshots screenshots of all twelve new characters.
What do you gays think? Are you enticed? Will you be (re)purchasing Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for $39.99 this November?
I'm only here for Rocket Racoon and Frank West tbqh
