For those who loved Dragon Age 2, but were left wanting more of the story, exhilarating combat, and of course, carefree rolls in the grass with your man (or lady) of choice, fear not: It is coming; it is coming indeed. In just under three weeks, the first DLC pack, called Legacy, will invite you to tread the path of the Vimmark Mountains -- an entirely new addition to the world of Dragon Age 2.
BioWare's site describes the new campaign as such:
Targeted by a vicious criminal cartel that are hunting "the blood of the Hawke," you must put an end to their relentless attacks. Leave Kirkwall, and journey to an ancient Grey Warden prison in order to find the source of the aggression and uncover the harsh truth about the Hawke lineage. Playable from any point in the DAII campaign, face all new darkspawn, forge a powerful new weapon and come face to face with an ancient horror.
New achievements for Legacy will also be available; those who are interested can find the positively delectable details on the Xbox 360 achievements website (site not affiliated with Microsoft). For those who have yet to play the game, and are thus hesitant about prematurely purchasing the DLC pack, it should be noted that one can make their merry trek to the Vimmark Mountains from any point in the game.
This adventure into the great unknown will run $10, and will be available for both Xbox 360 and PS3.
