Mario And Luigi. Male Models. That Is All.

marioluigimuto.png

From internet magazine Independent Visual Publication Muto, comes this gorgeous spread featuring two very hot men as the legendary plumbers.

You can check out the rest of the spread, and the entire issue, right here. But be warned, while not at all pornographic the issue is quite naughty and most certainly NSFW.

More SFW hotness under the cut. I promise shirtlessness and mustaches.

So that's what the video would look like if Scissor Sisters wrote SMB2's theme song...

This is a good point, and I endorse it.

These guys are "hot"?? Both white; one covered in unattractive tattoos....very typical and VERY narrow-minded version of "hot" in my opinion. I thought gay people were supposed to trend-set and be more creative/imaginative. This is so typical it makes me gag, and I don't even have anything being shoved down my throat except this lame, one-dimensional version of hotness. BORING.

@Til

So white men can't be hot? Tattoos can't be hot? Is that what you're getting at?

Nowhere in the post did he say that these two are the epitome of hotness. Hotness does indeed come in all different shapes and sizes. And in the case of these two, one of whom is Hispanic actually, they *are* indeed hot for many people.

Not your cup of tea? That's fine, nobody said you had to drink it.

The most narrow minded thing going on in this thread so far seems to be your notion that all gay people are creative trend-setters. That's more damaging than your, completely off base, idea that these two aren't hot which, btw, is most certainly NOT being shoved down your throat. Did gogoedward once say "if you don't think these guys are hot you're wrong and your opinion is invalid" ? I didn't think so.

@Til: wow, instead of agreeing to disagree that just maybe different people find different types of people attractive, you come in, for lack of a better term, butthurt about the whole thing. As pointed out, our Mario here is not exactly white, and while I think the tattoos are a little much myself, I still find them both quite nice to look at.

The self-loathing in your post leads me to think you're one of the self proclaimed "radical queers" who would feel a mixed race transgendered, paraplegic grand master/matron of a Pride parade isn't diverse enough.

I don't think Til's comment really comes from a place of self-loathing more than it does a frustration from generally seeing "lighter skin colored" males being portrayed as the objects of desire, as they often are. It's always nice to see some diversity whether it's in the LGBTQ community or the global community and while certain remarks made by Til may have been a bit off point, I feel that is a valid concern.

I will say that it's probably best to avoid reducing a person to an illness by identifying them as a "paraplegic" because that can be seen as offensive. "Disabled person" is probably a better phrase.

Further, diversity goes beyond outward, physical characteristics. There's much more to be realized in the way of diversification.

Did anyone even look at the actual magazine article that these photos are from? The first spread is of a, very attractive, black man!

...The Mario is quite obviously not white, and to me at least, looks to be obviously some sort of Latino. Check your eyesight, Til.

You've either missed the basic thrust of my comment or are trolling, so I suppose I'll need to spell it out. Further, paraplegic is a clinical definition, had I used "gimp or cripple" it might have weight; calling someone "Homosexual" is pretty damned far from the field of offensive language. At issue is when we eschew everything else for the sake of diversity; when we need to find the most minority segment of a minority group or we are just not being sensitive enough. Saying "ho hum, more white bread. Personally I prefer X, Y, and Z" has a different weight than "These guys are "hot"?? Both white; one covered in unattractive tattoos....very typical and VERY narrow-minded version of "hot" in my opinion." The former allows for civil discourse on the nature of what may or not be hot. The latter carries an air of arrogance about how much better they are because they're more sensitive to minorities/how cool they are because they're not mainstream/an expression of guilt that they're not sensitive enough to minorities. I was obviously playing off the internalized guilt/homophobia because that's what I so often find to be at fault; people who are wracked with internal guilt from not finding FTM/MTF/ethinicity X attractive and overcompensate by lashing out at the "norm".

He/she/it is trolling. Hello, it's Mario and Luigi. They're almost a stereotype of a stereotype. What are they going to look like, Inuit FTMs in wheelchairs?
