Almost two years ago I had my eye on a project by Krystian Majewski's TRAUMA. Now it looks to release within the next month or so, as Majewski wants to release it before his 30th birthday. Since this was largely on his own time among other projects, I'm rather glad to see it finally coming to us in playable form.
The premise is that you are a young woman who wakes from a car accident. The gameplay seems akin to an interactive film, or set of photographs. It's largely point-and-click, with some motions you can swipe in order to accomplish things. It has some pull-quotes from the likes of Michael Abbott (Brainy Gamer), Michaël Samyn (Tale of Tales), and Kellee Santiago (thatgamecompany), so it looks to have all the makings of a game I would appreciate, though I realize I like some pretty out there stuff at times.
Speaking to the developer himself, he assures me that when this releases, it should be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The downloadable version should cost around €5 (which would be close to around $7.50, but not sure if it will scale as such), and there will be bits to play online for free.
