Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
Curly can collect all the thermometers he wants I want nothing to do with the damn things. Right now, Narnia may be pleasant, but my other home is stuck in a brutal heat wave, and every time I look at a thermometer, I am utterly horrified at how high the temperature is.
Anyway, Narnia was, as always, cool and pleasant. Check it out!
Remember when my flowers looked like this after I'd been gone for good chunks of June? Well, here it is, just over a month later, and they're looking a lot better...
I mean, no, they're not perfect, but I never said I had much of a green thumb. It's all pretty much accidents and luck, but whatever. A hybrid is a hybrid, however it grows!
There was a Bug-Off this week, and as usual, Nat freaked my $#!t out. Seriously, the dude is just weird. It's one thing to try and create a contest to see if you can convince idiots like us to go running all around town trying to catch dinner for you, but he's really desperate to deny that's what he's doing.
See? He's a creeper.
Anyway, I tried catching a couple bugs, even though I've already got the trophy, just for something to do. Unfortunately, Octavian had caught a jewel beetle that netted him so many points I wasn't able to find anything that could beat it. There was just nothing rare flying around at that time of day, I guess. Oh well. I get the letter saying I get the "good sport" award or whatever, and I throw it away. At least I didn't win another trophy! That I would've felt obligated to keep!
I was a little taken aback when Octavian told me he was thinking about packing up and hitting the road. Not surprised, but annoyed. I mean, really... can't I go a week without someone trying to run away? Whatever. I asked him not to go and he immediately changed his mind. I'd like to think it's because he likes me just that much, but honestly, he admitted it was because packing boxes and moving is such a hassle. Yeesh. Glad I could save you the trouble, you grumpy old octopus!

How do you keep your grass so perfect? Is it all the flowers? I haven't played in FOREVER and my grass is nice. I would like to keep it that way. :P
Actually, planting flowers does help grass grow in bare patches. I also don't run around, which makes the grass go away. You've gotta have a gentle touch! ;-)
