It was one of those Good News/Bad News kind of weeks in Narnia. You'll see what I mean after the jump. But first, I would just like to say that Kapp'n is kind of creeping me out a little. I never noticed it before, but recently, I realized that every time I take his bus into the city, he asks me about whether I'm going there to meet a girl or out on a date or something. He'll ask if I'm wearing cologne and talk about grooming habits and stuff. Am I imagining things, or is Kapp'n hitting on me?!?
Peanut wasn't the only one complaining to me about how they wish they could meet new people. Although she was the only one to look like she was going to kick my ass if I didn't open up the town gates to let visitors in!
Seriously, I should probably think about opening my gates more often. I just got out of the habit because I didn't think anyone else would be around to swing by for a visit. But maybe I'm wrong!
During the week, I thought to myself, "Maybe this will be the first week in ages that someone doesn't try to move away." And sure enough, as soon as I put that thought out into the Animal Crossing Universe, Freya asks me if she should take off. She looked so forlorn, but I actually would like her to stick around. She can be snarky and awesome sometimes. Meanwhile, Violet, the big purple ape sticks around and I could care less about her!
At least Freya was easy to talk out of moving!
Okay, this isn't the best photo, but honestly, when you think you're dying, you just snap the shutter and hope for the best. You're not really thinking about capturing just the right moment. But this is me attempting (and failing miserably) to catch a scorpion I found wandering around near my house. Not sure why I thought I could pull it off, but whatever. The point here is that I was stung by a scorpion and passed out while Curly there just stood around staring off into space pretending like he didn't even see a thing! Seriously? That's just rude!
I was also thrilled this week to see Pascal again. It's been so long I thought maybe he'd gone off and joined a commune or something. But maybe it was just time for Burning Man. Anyway, I leave you this week with his hippie dippy wisdom. What if, indeed?
