Gallery: Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny

Nastume has set the date for the launch of Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny for September 27, and released a handful of screenshots of the game to tide over your destiny until then. The action-RPG will be out on the Wii and for the first time on the PlayStation 3.
Best friends Aden and Sonja are cursed to share the same body. On top of that, their island home is gone, replaced by a new world they must explore to solve their curse and save their island. They'll take control of the towering golem, Ymir, and use him to traverse the seas, discover hidden islands and more!
"The sprawling ocean setting will have players adventuring for hours, and the great characters will really help pull them into the world of Fenith Island," says Hiro Mekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "Packed with action, adventure, and romance, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny has something for everyone!"
It's looking good, and with the cartoony graphical style, the PS3 version doesn't seem to outshine the Wii too much, except in general resolution. (And while these screenshots are square, there's clearly space on the top and bottom to be cropped off by your widescreen HDTV!)

Can't wait to treat my Wii with it :)
I'd prefer a fresh 'proper' Harvest Moon title, the slow paced and relaxed one, but I'll enjoy playing this none the less. HM titles just scream for online services in general, would love to be able to visit some of my friends' towns and farms or, in this case, even hack my way through mobs with them. Wonder if we'll see any? (been a while since I picked up any of my HM titles I don't even remember if they had online play or whatever....)
Dammit, now you got me all excited for this game.... But my student budget really can't afford it or I'd have to go a month without any food! (*....starts considering that option*)
