Twisted Metal's David Jaffe Speaks From The Heart (In A Sense)
I'll have to keep this very brief tonight (sudden family emergency), but David Jaffe, co-created of the forthcoming Twisted Metal, has a message for you. Mainly it's that the game will be released on Valentine's Day -- nothing says "I love you" quite like murder, i guess -- but the kids behind the game want you to know that there's something very special, and dare i say lovely, about its release. Many games promise shimmering graphics, engrossing sound, and compelling gameplay, but riddle me this: Do they deliver you into a world of real-world, carnal frolic? According to Jaffe, Twisted Metal will do just that. Beyond the heartfelt message, there is a brief character introduction, as well as some in-game footage.
