Well, this was a somewhat eventful week in Narnia. No big events or new finds for the museum, but I got a new piece of furniture, more than one person tried to move out, and as you can see, Peanut lost her temper. Why? Well, all will be revealed by the end of this entry...
Cyrano surprised me by declaring his restless feelings and desire to move to a new environment. Well, I say surprised, but I probably shouldn't have been. It seems like at least once a week, someone tells me they're bored and want to move away. I should probably stop trying to keep them here. You wanna go? Go.
Honestly, though, I like Cyrano because he's crotchety like Octavian. And like Octavian, when I asked him not to go, he quickly changed his mind and agreed that it was too much trouble to pack his crap up and move anyway!
Of course, since it was the beginning of a new month, it was time for the next installment from Nintendo's gold series of furniture, the gold woman. This time, the message read: "Can you imagine if this item were a piece of chocolate wrapped in foil?! That would be enough to last a lifetime! Or a really long movie at least..."
I do enjoy how gaudy my house is getting month by month. Although the creepy man and woman are a little weird-looking, in my opinion. As long as there's no golden sacrificial altar on its way, I guess it'll be okay!
Lolly was the other one who tried to escape my clutches... er, move out of town this week. Of course, being a girl, when I asked her to stay, she burst into tears at the realization that I cared that much about whether or not she left me. Whatever. Maybe it was her time of the month?
Oh, right. I promised to explain why Peanut was losing her cool at the beginning of this week's entry. Well, it's because she asked me to deliver a present to Curly who literally lives around the corner from her. How lazy is she? Anyway, I delivered the present, and above you see Curly's reaction to the firefighter tee that she sent him. Needless to say, he wasn't thrilled with it, and thought Peanut was horrible to even send it to him. I thought he was overreacting, but when I went back to Peanut to tell her I delivered it, she asked how Curly liked it. I admitted that he wasn't blown away, and she flipped her... wig.
Honestly, I don't know what was in the water this week. Everyone was really emotional and freaky. Maybe the summer weather's too hot and everyone's losing their cool? Yeesh!
