Style Savvy was an unusual title for the Nintendo DS that saw you running your own fashion boutique and trying to find the right outfits for picky customers to keep your store running. It sounds ridiculous, but it was surprisingly fun, and you can read my full review of it if you're curious.
So that's why I'm super-excited that Syn Sophia are developing a sequel to appear on the 3DS, adding even more items to the game and this time around... men's fashion! Now, while it'll be fun to dress up the boys just like you do the girls, I haven't been able to find out yet if you'll be able to play as a boy this time around. It seems like you should be able to, since the character models are all already there.
I'm also looking forward to the 3DS version because I assume it will use StreetPass to visit other players' boutiques. In the original, you could go online and register your store, and people could buy the items you put on display. Then you would log in later and collect the money. Using StreetPass to do that would just make the whole procedure that much simpler.
So, better graphics, more options, and men's clothing? All in 3D? I couldn't be more excited for this title if I tried. Seriously, it's behind Animal Crossing 3DS right now for me as far as most-anticipated 3DS games. Don't judge me!
