Video: Jennifer Hale PAX 2011 Interview

So you know how Mass Effect is so awesome? And how Fem Shep is more awesome because of Jennifer Hale's terrific voicework? Well, here's an interview she gave during PAX Prime 2011 to make you love her even more. She's clearly in love with the character and the series as well as the genre in general. (Battlestar Galactica? Good call.) She won't give up any deets on Mass Effect 3 except to say that it's going to be amazing, but we knew that already.

I don't know why she avoided the question about whether she'd choose to leave Kaiden or Ashley behind. I mean, obviously you let Ashley go. Kaiden's too hot to die!

One slight nitpick first: For a video focusing on the voice-actor for FemShep, the video has ridiculous amount of MaleShep footage.

Now, onto the fun stuff: I really appreciate her dedication to "leaving it all in the booth", to giving everything she has for the recording sessions. The actors who push themselves during performances like this really make a lot of difference in my enjoyment of a game. I normally play a MaleShep, but this interview with her has me contemplating playing a FemShep in ME3.

I love Jennifer Hale so much. Mazzy in Baldur's Gate II, Bastila Shan in SW:Kotor, Elena in Grandia II, and... Sam in Totally Spies! She's the best!
