Video: Wootini's Video Podcast #34
Once again, I am joined by fellow GG.net writer ROCsteady because while I'm currently in the middle of trying to get back into a bunch of games to kill time until Skyrim's release, he recently finished a game I've been itching to play (but don't think I can finish before Skyrim), Deus Ex: Human Revolution! ROCsteady is currently prepping a review of the game, but until that posts, you can get some of his thoughts right here as I grill him about the latest in the venerable series!

Deus Ex was fantastic. In spite of some fugly graphics and the occasional spotty enemy AI, I was totally immersed in this cyberpunk future. Where can I get a social aug in real life?
To comment a bit on the discussion at the beginning:
You know, lately I've been trying to convince myself that playing an open-world game isn't a failed gaming experience if I don't finish it. I mean, I've never managed to finish Oblivion, but I've played two or three, like, 90 hour play periods. And I enjoyed myself, and the fact that I didn't reach some satisfying "end" point and just reached a point where I was done and wanted to go play something else didn't mean the 90 hours I enjoyed were invalidated.
I love Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I am on my 3rd playthrough to get my Hard mode achievement. Yes the boss battles are pretty tricky, best way to deal with bosses easily is Typhoon system and the Combat rifle for the first boss, and then the typhoon system and the Revolver with explosive rounds mod, makes really quick work of them.
You can pretty much find all of the lethal and non lethal weapons lying around in secure places, plus you get the mods for them the same way as well as doing side quests.
@rahzen The PSN is your social Aug! Lolz! Congrats btw on your engagement ya old married lady!! ;)
