Narnia was actually quite pleasant this week. While the real world was full of rain and dreariness, Narnia was lovely. (Even if I would appreciate some rain so I could just hang out and chat with folks instead of worrying about watering my flowers!)
Make the jump for this week's nonsense! (Oh, and as a PS, after Peanut told me about this cute shirt, she admitted that since she couldn't find me, she used it to clean her sink. Her sink! Guess it's better than her toilet!)
This is one time I actually find myself agreeing with my mother! I mean, I can't wait to have some chili, which really isn't a summer kind of meal. Although if I was being honest, my favorite thing about fall isn't the food, it's the fact that you can wear long sleeves and sweaters and start cozying up when there's a chill in the air. Cozying up isn't really that pleasant when it's 100 degrees out and you're cranking the AC!
I was a little concerned when Derwin told me he was planning to move. Especially after I asked him not to, and he said he'd like to stay but wasn't sure he could get out of it. But by the end of the week, he was still hanging around and I talked to him about random stuff and he didn't mention moving again, so maybe I'm in the clear. Of course, now that I've just said that, he'll be gone tomorrow!
Actually, I think this nugget of psychedelic truth from Pascal is a repeat because it sounds familiar. But it was too good not to use again. And I'm not going through two years of diary entries to check. Although now that I think about it, I haven't really noticed many duplicates out of the otter. Wow. That's a lot of nonsense he's got stuffed in that tiny little noggin!
Sometimes my friends can be so needy. Like Lolly here, who was all insecure about her outfit because of something Derwin said. I told her she was fine, and not to listen to the duck. Especially since neither of them were even living here a year ago, so how would he even know what she was wearing? Well, unless they both happened to find themselves living in the same town at that point. I mean, they do move around a lot. Wait, no, that doesn't even work either, because Lolly is wearing the Spider-Man shirt my bf designed specifically for this town. I mean, I suppose a visitor might have bought one and it spread around a bit, but she didn't start wearing it until she moved to Narnia. I know that for sure. So Darwin was just being a bully. Rude. I'm gonna have to have a talk with that duck...
