Ulala On PSN!

Space Channel 5 Part 2.jpg

Sony's calling it "Double Dreamcast Tuesday," but honestly, all I care about is that Space Channel 5: Part 2 is available starting today on the PlayStation Network for $9.99! I was all excited for the Dreamcast Collection that was released a while back, but only because of Space Channel 5's sequel, which I never played.

But now Space Channel 5: Part 2 is being released on PSN (Xbox LIVE on Wednesday) all by itself, so there's no longer any reason to pay extra for games you don't even want! So I'm super-excited to play it finally, and I can't wait to try the two-player mode! (And I appreciate that it's in widescreen, too.)

Oh, yeah, SEGA Bass Fishing is out, too, but who cares about that? Even if they have added in Move support for casting and reeling in... How can fishing even hope to compete with Space Michael?

They are also available on steam without all the extra Sony BS.

So... they added move support to a fishing game and NOT to SC5:P2? That is really wrong...
I already have it on steam, but I soooo would buy it again if it had Move support. The game is already really good, sure, but if I could dance control Ulala, it would be PERFECT!

...That's exactly right, Milda. I look forward to touching Ulala via PSN any moment now. I preferred the music in the first one, but there were some real gems in the second. (Pine FTW)

Don't get too excited, it's only Part 2. I gotta be honest, the original is far better. Even though it's just more of the same really. i'm still holding out for Jet Grind Radio to finally make an appearance.

Having recently played Space Channel 5 Part 2, I can say that it has not held up well over the years. It still has that strange charm that so endeared us to the first game, but the actual game mechanics just aren't up to par in today's gaming world. Of course, that is also to say nothing of the graphics, which nowadays look like absolute garbage.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
