This was a big week, since it was the end of one month and the beginning of another. Mostly because it was time for a big holiday, but also because it's time for another piece of gold furniture! Of course, there's still time for some drama and silliness!
To start off with, it was Halloween, which made watering my plants a pain in the butt. Because on Halloween, everyone runs around in costume as Jack, and you're meant to find the real Jack to get pieces of the Spooky furniture set. But friends will just chase after you to steal your candy, which makes it annoying when you've got places to go and things to do! Leave me alone!!
Of course, during my rounds, I did happen to run into Jack himself lurking around scaring people, so I thought I should say hi. Big mistake. See, he wants candy. But since I already had the entire set of furniture, I didn't bother making the trade. And if you don't have any candy on you, he gets a little... perturbed.
And then, poof! You're left wearing this ugly old scrap. Although a part of me thinks it's cool. I mean, you can't buy this anywhere, so it's unique. I don't have to worry about one of my friends wearing the same thing ever. So I'm going to rock the patchwork look!
And of course, the day after October 31 brought November 1, which meant it was time for another delivery from Nintendo! This time their letter read: "You know what they say about the value of time? Well, if this clock isn't a reminder of that fact, we don't know what is!" My house is looking kind of crazy now! I just need the floor to really complete the look!
Winnie surprised me here. I mean, she just moved in! Why doesn't anyone want to stay? (And again, Violet is STILL HERE!) I told her not to go, and she acted all overdramatic and indecisive. You'll have to come back next week to see if she sticks around!
I love when I can leave you with a little bit of wisdom from everybody's favorite deranged otter, Pascal. Seriously, I don't even know what he's getting at here. Because runners run so fast, only other runners can see them? What if they're going in the opposite direction? Uh oh, I think my brain just broke.
