Zelda 3DS Is Made Of Awesome
You can always count on Nintendo to release a system, then release it in different colors that are cooler than the original one... and then release branded ones that are even more amazing than the different colors!
So of the two 3DS bundles that Nintendo will be releasing into stores on Thanksgiving, it's obviously not the Flame Red 3DS packaged with Super Mario 3D Land that we're interested in here. No, it's the beautiful Cosmo Black 3DS bundled with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D that I'm in love with because of its lovely decorative detailing. Honestly, it's probably the nicest branded DS I've seen.
Both bundles will be in stores on November 24, and will retail for $199.99. Which is actually $10 less than a system and game would cost, if I'm doing the math right. (Which I may not be, since math was never my strong suit...)
Also, if you're not sold yet on the 3DS system, Nintendo is doing a mall tour between November 21 and December 18 where you can check out the 3DS and the hot games for the holidays. You can find a full list of the two dozen malls participating in it over at the Nintendo website.
Also, that 3DS system update that will let us shoot 3D videos still hasn't arrived yet. They're saying "later this month," but November is nearly over!
