Video: Game Of Thrones Winter Trailer
Atlus and Cyanide Studios have released this new trailer for the upcoming Game of Thrones RPG. The locations do look very impressive, although the people maybe slightly less so. And there's really no actual gameplay to speak of, aside from some running around. I appreciate that they worked with George R.R. Martin to craft the story so it will work within the world of the books and the HBO series, but I'm concerned about the playing as two people. Personally, I'd rather switch back and forth between them throughout. That would be better than having to play the game twice. (I have limited time for gaming what with work and sleep and annoying things like that!)
They have also launched the official website for the game, where you can explore some of the key locations and characters in the RPG. Plus, you can also take on mini-quests to receive web-exclusive content.
Game of Thrones is currently scheduled to release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in early 2012. (Probably near the premiere of the second season on HBO?) I'm cautiously optimistic... what about you?

Characters & their animations remind me of Sims. Take that however you want....
I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but knowing how most games based on some other media franchises turn out to be, not really allowing myself to get my hopes (too far) up either. I hope they go the "Batman-route".... We'll see.
