Fallout New Vegas Gets "Ultimate Edition"
Nothing says "post-apocalyptic fun and frolic," quite like a mournful rendition of "Home on the Range," set to the terror which man hath brought upon himself.
Come February 7th (February 10th for Europe), the "Ultimate Edition" of New Vegas shall arrive, bringing with it, as everyone's marketing department would undoubtedly say, "Ultimate Savings." For $50, you get the original game, and every DLC pack - Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road - as well as the add-ons "Courier's Stash" and "Gun Runners' Arsenal."
So if you, like me, have yet to enjoy the irradiated loveliness that is New Vegas, this is your opportunity to become an elderly shut-in surrounded by throngs of cats see what all the fuss was about. 2012, you held such promise. D*mn you Obsidian Entertainment, and d*mn you Bethesda - a pox on all your houses.

I'd STILL be running around the Wasteland surrounding New Vegas if I hadn't been sucked into Tamriel once again in November. Someday my lonely travelling courier will get his story finished...just as soon as my Khajiit gets tired of slaying dragons...
Seriously, New Vegas is amazing, and having bought it all already I don't need this, but if you haven't played it yet then you're in for a huge treat.
(play it on PC if possible, there are some AMAZING mods for this game)
Sadly, I'll probably have to play it on 360... I'm a die-hard disciple of PC gaming -- particular for FPS-style games, keyboard an mouse are my preferred controls -- but ever since my laptop's famed "execution by cat," I've been stuck with my desktop's integrated graphics card.
It's not abysmally awful -- i can still enjoy Prey, and comparably-demanding games -- but not sure about New Vegas.
Oh yes, and the lovely lovely mods... I've yet to check out any of the New Vegas ones (you've now doomed me to a YouTube spree), but I've been most amused with the stuff I've found for Skyrim. Hal posted the "Macho Man Randy Savage" one, and in the related vids there was a similar, albeit infinitely more creepy, "My Little Pony" dragon mod -- highly recommend checking it out.

New Vegas is pretty much the same as Fallout 3 in the requirements area, if you could run it you can run NV. Hell, I'd donate a video card to you if I had a spare that was worth anything : / Being a PC gamer myself I find aiming with a thumbstick annoying at *best*. They're just so...clunky and stiff and inaccurate compared to mouse aiming.
Also that video is hilarious. Thank you Skyrim, for making "300" jokes funny again!
