Prototype Comics Tell The Untold Story

Prototype was a popular open-world action game, and its sequel, Prototype 2, is due out on April 24. But Dark Horse Comics has teamed with Radical Entertainment to release a three-issue digital comic book series that will launch its first issue on February 15, and helpfully fill in the blanks to lead you right into the new game!

"With this partnership, our fans will finally be given answers to some dramatic loose ends from the first Prototype game, as well as the truth behind Alex Mercer's descent and evolution into a twisted shadow of his former self for Prototype 2."
The first story, "The Anchor," illustrated by Paco Díaz, continues the story of Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the first game.The second is called "The Survivors," and will be illustrated by Chris Staggs. It will chronicle the harrowing tale of a small group of Big Apple residents desperately trying to escape the city after it is transformed into New York Zero. And the third, illustrated by Victor Drujiniu, is entitled "The Labyrinth," and will offer up some backstory for Prototype 2's main character, Sgt. James Heller.
The first issue will be available at Digital.Darkhorse.com on February 15, and the subsequent ones will follow every other week at 99 cents each!
