THQ has announced that the first DLC workout pack for UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System has been released and is available free of charge on Xbox LIVE for anyone who owns the game. Featuring UFC bantamweight Urijah Faber, the workout pack will feature five new workout routines and 15 new Hit the Mitts drills. (Those are my personal favorite.)
In addition, the pack includes the Undisputed Trainee Achievement, which will give you a Create-a-Fighter boost that saves you 8-10 hours of gameplay time in the forthcoming UFC Disputed 3. As long as you buy it for the Xbox 360, obviously. And that's if you want to buy an actual UFC fighting game instead of just the workout game.
Future DLC packs are in the works, one featuring Cain Velasquez for release on January 31, and one with Jon Jones on February 21. Both of those will also feature 5 new workout routines and 15 Hit the Mitts drills, and both will cost 800 Microsoft Points each. (Which seems a bit much to me. I'll have to download this free one and see if it's really worth $10 or not...)
