Pokemon Black And White Version 2 Coming This Autumn

Last weekend's big reveal for Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 shocked gamers across the world by bucking the series' traditional remix trend. Virtually all of the details remain cloudy (no doubt lined up for a drip feed to keep fans in a constant state of arousal), but today, Nintendo of America has announced that the new games will reach North America and Europe in Autumn 2012 for the Nintendo DS.
A fall release adds to the pile of "Reasons Generation Five Might Actually Be Different" alongside eschewing the yearly spring dates the series has used since Diamond and Pearl, the more in-depth story present in Black and White, and the loss of a third "remix" title for each generation. It seems like Nintendo and Game Freak will keep their promise to revitalize the series and make some drastic changes to an exhausted formula.
We'll be sure to keep you updated on the details on Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 as they arrive out this year.

But... but... but...
... I don't like change...
Hopefully they'll be more to my sequel to Black [White 2] than just Kyurem's new forme, the re-adding in of Rebattling Gym Leaders etc...
Am excited to see how this all plays out, though!
The main thing about Gen 5 that bugged me was the non-inclusion of any other Pokes besides the new ones. How can caves exist without Zubats? Fishing with no chance to catch a Magikarp? It's madness, regardless if they had replacements.
But other than that, I agree with the first commentor. Change is bad for Pokemon. Change is not why we play it. I always say, as long as the mechanics are preserved, Pokemon could appear as big black rectangles with numbers for names, and I'd still play it.
