Video: Wootini's Video Podcast #54
Well, this weekend I went to see an off-Broadway show and a movie, but still found time to play some games... despite this stupid cold I just can't seem to shake. Nothing new, but there's stuff coming on the horizon... but do demos whet your appetite or spoil the game? Ah, the age-old dilemma...

Glad to hear about "Carrie." I always thought backstage at a musical in trouble would make a fun setting for an RPG or adventure game. The closest I've seen to it is the opera house sequence in Final Fantasy VI and the theatre level of Psychonauts.

also, i agree, there's something off with DC2 overall, i feel. i've managed to only goldstar 1, count'em on hard difficulty, one song out of every song betwixt the games and dlc. and i still have songs from the original that i haven't even 5-starred yet. which is insane, because i have them all on the first disc. also, i would like to see an update that supplies some filler to the original tracks and dlc prior to DC2. it almost makes me not want to play the original songs anymore because they still suffer from "freestyle mode".
i think this is the general period of gaming lull overall. it's like the gaming off season, lol. can't wait to hear about RE on 3DS, now that it's a reasonable price, i may have to snatch it up. mayhaps they will have a special edition that i can pick up ~ oooooh.

Oh, boo hoo. You can't gold star songs on Hard. ;-)
You're still ahead of me on 95% of the songs when I check the leaderboard. I've barely started to try them on hard... and forget doing that with any of the DC1 songs... I can barely 5-star some of those on Easy!
And I TOTALLY agree that they should've done something to fill in the freestyle mode on the original songs. I was so thrilled to be able to turn that mode off, but then I imported the DC1 songs and was devastated to find out it didn't work on those!
I had no idea you did podcast. Excellent show guys !
