A Not So Undercover Tease

I got a mysteriously vague PR E-mail today, but when I opened the attached image, well, there's really not that much mysterious about it. It's clearly a new Spy Vs. Spy game from Warner Bros. Interactive. So the question would be platforms. Looking up Robots & Pencils, they're an iPhone/iPad developer, so I'm gonna go with that. Although I feel that would be a shame. A two-player Spy Vs. Spy game for Xbox LIVE or PlayStation Network would be a whole lot of fun. Unless it's something like a turn-based iPhone game like Words With Friends where you set traps while trying not to fall into your opponent's traps at the same time. I guess we'll find out more eventually...

I see a First Star software logo, which makes me think it's just going to be an updated version of their game from the 80's. Not saying that's a bad thing, that game was fun as all heck.
Oh my god, that image looks like this could be a remake of the classic 1984 Spy VS Spy game for the Commodore 64 and NES among other platforms.
Crazy fun player vs player gameplay in a genre all of its own.
I really hope it isn't just for iPad because it is a superb gem of game design that shouldn't be missed, in my opinion.
