Video: Mass Effect 3 Launch Trailer
Just a few days before its release, the launch trailer for Mass Effect 3 has surfaced, on that greatest of info dumps: the internet. As one might expect, said trailer is awash with epic battle scenes, epic music, and the ominous specter of death - a noble sacrifice for the cause of righteousness - rearing its ghastly head in the cold vacuum of space. Familiar faces make their respective returns, inspired words paint a harrowing picture of man's darkest hour, and as always, Captain Shepherd storms the S.S. Poonany like a true champ.
As anyone with a computer knows, there's been an onslaught of advertising, announcing Captain Shepherd's return like he/she is some kind of interstellar Jesus. Yet hype aside, I have a sneaking suspicion that ME3 has a great deal of promise. I missed out on the first Mass Effect - it remains on my "to play" list to this day - but I thoroughly enjoyment of ME2. Story and gameplay were solid, characters were well-realized enough for you to care about them, and overall, It just seemed that a good deal of care was put into the game.
So check out the above video, and feel free to share your thoughts about ME3 in the comments section below!

Wow! They sure kept some really good stuff behind for this last trailer. 2 more days and then its time to save the Galaxy!
Hell yea... Although I have no intention of letting my Shep die... there has to be another way... like they did in Dragon age origins... :)))
Again just want to point out you can actually be gay in this one, and not just in that "hot faux-lesbians ONLY" thing they've been doing with the asari since day one.
Just a word of warning a few people are reporting that the top comments on this video on YouTube are spoilers, which are the first 2 that you see and not regular spoilers (apparently) but big ones.
Just checked it... No spoilers to be seen in the top comment, but thank you for the warning. Like clockwork, some d*chebag will undoubtedly post spoilers in the regular comments section.
Readers be advised!
Hopefully they will keep removing them if they go back up, I'm on a ME3 blackout as of tomorrow as over this side of the pond we have 3 days to wait and I have no doubt that with a launch like this A LOT of spoilers will be on YT and the likes :(
Also thank you SuperSwede for risking spoilers to check for us :)
