Hey, SoulCalibur fans! Namco Bandai announced today that there is a free title update coming for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of SoulCalibur V on March 21. The update will optimize online ranked game searches, tweak gameplay, and adjust character balancing for the entire roster based on player feedback.

This update will also be used for the SoulCalibur V Worldwide Finals on April 10 at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino in Las Vegas. The tournament brings together the best SoulCalibur V players from around the world to compete for a grand prize of $10,000 cash. If you live in the Los Angeles area, and would like to attend, Namco Bandai are providing transportation on the morning of April 10 and returning from Vegas that night. The bus will be stopping at various locations around LA to be announced at a later date (you must be 21 to attend). Follow Namco Bandai Games Community Manager Rich "filthierich" Bantegui at www.twitter.com/filthierich or www.facebook.com/soulcalibur/ for updates.

In addition to the title update, there will be monthly DLC costume packs to increase the customization options in SoulCalibur V's Creation Mode. You know, in case there weren't enough already. The first pack is due April 3, and more details will be released soon!

I might play this game again if they add a new story mode, like with ending for all the characters. The one that shipped was literally the worst in the entire series, including Soul Edge.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
