Prince Of Persia Remake Now Available On The App Store
The early nineties: In the minds of those older than myself, it was an interesting era. Clinton had just become president, MTV still operated under the auspices of having something to do with music, and after grunge dethroned c*ck rock 80's metal as the dominant style of music, everyone cool was either on heroin, dying from heroin, or thinking of picking up the habit for the sake of enhancing said coolness. Sadly this was usually followed by a most undignified, and thoroughly uncool death from - you guessed it - heroin.
For those of my age group, it was a time of riding bikes, watching cartoons that (as my adult mind would later discover) seemed like the first-rate brainwrong of a deranged mental patient, and of course, the original Prince of Persia. Despite enjoying its 3D incarnations - I've found it to be one of the few franchises that made the transition rather gracefully - the child in me still holds allegiance to its 2D predecessors. For those looking to take a trip down nostalgia lane, the App Store is now selling Prince of Persia Classic, a remake of, as the title suggests, the original Prince of Persia. Pairing 2D gameplay with updated visuals, the game will run you $1.99.

Holy, hilarious run-on-sentence Batman!
I too adored the OG PoP and am totally downloading the app right now!
Now if it could just be on steam I'd be thrilled. That game was both great and hard as sin. I remember playing it on an old 386. Good times.
Agree with Kaarde - my first thought when seeing the title was "why isn't this on Steam yet?"
I remember playing this game on SNES...
I had the original NES cartridge. It pissed me off sooooo much how hard this game was, and I may not have even made it halfway through.
