Capcom has announced that they will be porting the two formerly Wii-exclusive titles Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and its sequel Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles over to the PlayStation 3 as digital downloads.
The games will be remastered in HD with graphical upgrades, and PlayStation Move compatibility will be added in (though it's optional you can still just use a controller if you like). The on-rails shooters retell key moments in the Resident Evil story through co-op monster blasting action featuring characters like Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy.
The pair of games will be released on the PlayStation Network in June 2012 in Europe and North America as Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection. The titles will also be made available for purchase separately at an unspecified later date. No pricing is as yet available.
